Download your US Foods invoices from MOXe (or photograph the paper delivery copy), drop them in, and every product line comes back as a spreadsheet row: product number, description, pack and size, quantity, unit price and extended amount. Credits, fuel charges and deposits stay on their own rows, so the sheet is ready for food cost, price tracking and your bookkeeper.

The short answer
To convert US Foods invoices to Excel, select the invoices in MOXe, download them (up to 50 at a time, packaged as a ZIP), unzip, and upload the PDFs to InvoiceExtraction. You get one XLSX or CSV file with one row per product line across every invoice, with the invoice number, delivery date and customer number repeated on each row so it pivots by item, category, week or location. Starter is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly.
The US Foods product number lands in a text column with any leading zeros kept, so it still matches your order guide and a VLOOKUP against your recipe sheet.
Pack and size (for example 6/5 LB or 4/1 GAL) come across exactly as printed, which is what you need to turn a case price into a cost per pound or per portion.
Quantity, unit price and extended amount are real numbers, not text with dollar signs, so totals, pivots and charts work without cleanup.
Returns, mispicks and credit memos keep their negative sign, so a returned case lowers food cost instead of being counted twice.
The ship-to and customer number are captured per invoice, so a group with several US Foods accounts gets one sheet it can split by store.
Items billed by actual weight keep the billed pounds and the price per pound, so the line reconciles to what you were charged.
In MOXe, open your invoices, set the date range, tick the invoices you want (up to 50 per download) and download them. Multiple invoices arrive as one ZIP file.
Unzip the file and drop all the PDFs into the uploader at once. Paper delivery copies can be added as photos or scans in the same batch.
Line totals are checked against the invoice total. Anything that does not add up, such as a handwritten short-ship correction, is flagged so you review one field, not a page.
Download one combined Excel or CSV file with a row per product line, or send the data to QuickBooks on the Plus plan.
You can download US Foods invoices from MOXe, the US Foods ordering site, and pick a file format when you do. What most operators end up with is a folder of invoice PDFs, one per delivery, which is fine for paying bills and useless for tracking what a case of chicken cost this week against last month. Converting those PDFs gives you the line-level spreadsheet: every product, every delivery, one sheet.
If your account already hands you a clean, line-level CSV for every invoice you need, use it. The converter earns its keep when you have PDFs, paper copies signed at the back door, older invoices, or invoices from US Foods and other distributors that you want in one consistent layout.
In MOXe, go to your invoices, choose the start and end dates and search. Tick the invoices you want (or Select All for everything shown), choose the file format and click Download Invoices. US Foods packages multiple invoices into a single ZIP file, and you can download up to 50 invoices at a time, so a month of twice-weekly deliveries for one store fits in a single pull.
Unzip the file and upload the whole folder here. There is no need to rename anything or split multi-page invoices; a three-page delivery comes back as one invoice with its lines in printed order.
The total at the bottom of a US Foods invoice tells you what to pay. The lines tell you why food cost moved. Once they sit in a spreadsheet, the analysis that used to take a Sunday afternoon of typing takes a pivot table.
Most kitchens buy from more than one broadliner, and the two biggest invoice formats look different on paper. The converter reads both without a template, and the output columns are the same, so a combined sheet compares like for like.

Generic PDF to Excel tools copy the page layout, which puts descriptions, pack sizes and prices into the wrong cells as soon as a line wraps. Typing by hand is accurate until the fortieth line. These are the lines that need care on a distributor invoice, and how they come out here.
Independent restaurant owners who run food cost in their own workbook and do not want a per-location back-office subscription. Chefs and kitchen managers who track price creep on their top 50 items. Multi-unit operators consolidating several US Foods customer numbers into one file. Caterers and institutional kitchens that bill clients on actual ingredient cost. And restaurant bookkeepers and accountants who receive a monthly folder of distributor PDFs from each client and need them coded and posted.
Pricing is by pages processed, not per location. Starter is $49 a month ($24 a month billed yearly) and covers up to 500 pages a month on the most accurate model or 2,500 on the faster one, which is well above what a single busy location receives in distributor invoices. Plus is $149 a month ($74 billed yearly) and adds bulk upload of 50 files at a time (a full MOXe ZIP in one go), custom extraction templates, category normalization, QuickBooks export and three seats for groups and bookkeepers. Full details are on the pricing page.
Download the invoice PDF from MOXe, upload it here and export XLSX or CSV. Each product line becomes a row with the product number, description, pack and size, quantity, unit price and extended amount, and the invoice number and date repeat on every row so the sheet sorts and pivots cleanly.
Yes. MOXe lets you download up to 50 invoices at a time as a ZIP. Unzip it and upload all the PDFs together; the export is one combined file with a row per line item across every invoice.
Yes. Both are read without templates and exported into the same columns, so you can upload a mixed batch from US Foods, Sysco, Performance Foodservice and local vendors and compare prices for the same items side by side.
Yes. Photos and scans go through OCR first. A flat, evenly lit photo reads well. Creases, shadows and handwritten corrections from the driver are the weak spots, and any low-confidence field is flagged for you to check.
Yes. Export a CSV shaped for a QuickBooks bill import, or use QBO export on the Plus plan, with the vendor, invoice number, date and line amounts filled in and the PDF kept for your records.
No. Your invoices are processed to produce your export and are not shared with other customers or with the distributors whose invoices you upload.
